About

LongevityFactCheck is an independent reference on longevity science and peptide regulation. Our promise is in the tagline: what's legal, what's proven.

Peptide marketing moves faster than the evidence and faster than the law. We track what FDA has actually done, what the human studies actually show, and we link every factual claim to its source: FDA documents, peer-reviewed papers, or named news outlets.

What we will never do

Who we are

Hi, I'm R. Bendana, the founder and writer behind LongevityFactCheck. I want to be upfront: I am not an MD, and I don't work in the health sector. I'm an independent writer who got hooked on a few big questions: what AI might do for medicine, whether "longevity escape velocity" is a real possibility, and which emerging therapies and pharmaceuticals might first slow aging and, someday, reverse it.

The more I read, the more I saw how hard it is to tell solid findings from hype. So this site is a careful lay reader's fact-check. I go to the primary sources myself, such as FDA documents and peer-reviewed studies, and I cite everything so you can check my work. I try hard to separate what has been shown in people from what is still promising, early or speculative, and I say which is which.

What I don't do is give medical advice or dosing. I'm not qualified to, and nothing here should replace a conversation with your own doctor. Please take what you learn here to them; they know your health in a way I never can.

If I get something wrong, I want to know and I'll fix it in the open.
